A service to our non-Danish readers.

Please note that we have finally started using a Label system on the blog: for a quick overview of the blog articles in English, please consult the box at the very bottom of the page. Look for the label called "English language". You will also find e.g. "Medaljer" which means Medals - so bling-bling sweets for your eyes. "Reportager" means Reports, and these will have photos to enjoy.

Finally: don't feel too discouraged about the Danish language posts; Google Translate works reasonably well concerning Danish to English. You can set your preferred language in the scroll-down menu at the top of the column to the right.

DANCON march, 28 OCT 2010

The 21 kilometres DANCON march for those that were unable to participate in the main event earlier in October - including the event maker, namely yours truly. Just six persons, four of whom stuck together as a team the whole way.

Helmet, body armour, combat vest (webbing), rifle, ammunition.

Immer Vorwarts! The weight carried was helmet, flag jacket (regardless of any difference in weight between the different national models), combat vest/webbing, rifle, and two magazines. On top of that, any water or snacks wanted.

From Battersea to Liverpool St St

9 kilometres/5.6 miles in 76 minutes, averaging 7.2 km/h.
