Takket være en donation fra tømrermester Hans-Jørgen Langhoff og hustru Grethe er det muligt at sørge for, at ”FOB Armadillo”-skiltet bevares for eftertiden.

"What to say?!" picture: RAF 2 Day March 2014

OMG. With permission from photographer Marcus N Nørgaard (and possibly from the depicted walkers ...), we bring you a scene from outside The Hartley Arms, Staffordshire, on Saturday 26 April.

Conceivably, this photo sums up Danish military road marching culture. I'm not sure what I mean with that, but it feels right. Anyhoo, 'twas a fine trip to the Midlands this year. We've experienced pretty rough weather in the past, so the hot and humid, non-windy climate of 26-27 April 2014 was a relative relief.

Report: The Bataan Memorial Death March 2014

The Monument of the "Battling Bastards of Bataan" at the Veteran memorial
park in Las Cruces. In the concrete that surrounded the monument some
of the original survivors of the Death march had made their footsteps.
Very touching.

Guest writers. March Team Beagle Boys had the great pleasure of being visited by two Swedish walkers at our yearly event in March, Burning Love Classic. Yours truly blog editor was cocky enough to ask for an article when I found that one of these Swedes, Andreas Holmberg, was going to travel all the way to the USA to do a famous march. VIKING! Som nogle læsere vil have bemærket, muntrer blogredaktøren sig nu og da i Havhingstens bådelaug. Tjek denne lettere rystede video fra forleden, da vi efter den sidste klargøring af selve skroget søsatte hingsten. Jeg ses cirka midtskibs iklædt nogle meget blå Helly Hansen-bukser og hvide handsker :-)
